This project was brought to me with a rather short turn around time, for one of our chief architects to present in Japan at a meeting with other key stakeholders. The idea is that Travelport needs to switch to cloud computing in order to stay competitive and reduce costs tremendously. We were losing a lot of potential booking with latency, since our data storage facilities were located only in Atlanta and Denver.
